The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones

The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones

Clary thinks she is a normal girl but one day her mother disappears and a strange guy appears in front of her everywhere she goes. She gets to know that she is a 'shadowhunter'. A Shadowhunter is person who kills demons.

So lets start with the review!

At first the movie is quite funny and I truly love fantasy movies.

The first part of the movie is quite interesting and well done !
A pity but true the movie carries on and gets quite bad.

So Clary gets to know her mother is a shadowhunter and that shadowhunter blood is inherited.

But some minutes later they say: we were not sure if she had shadowhunter blood in her.
WTF?! They told minutes before the shadowhunter stuff is inherited!

But okay one mistake is okay! The dialogues are quite bad no they are worse.

But like I mentioned before the movie is quite funny!

So after they found the right Warlock

Simon is really smart and gets kidnapped by Vampires!
So the vampires bite him but just his sight got better and he is still human...

Does that make sense? If you think that's really strange no, no,no!
I have a favourite list of senseless scenes in that movie:
The first and absolute best is Beethoven!
How funny that he was a shadow hunter...come on that is really ridiculous!
The second
he explains to Clary that  Beethoven invented a melody that demon can't listening to , because they show their true nature.
So she takes the Grail out of the picture and ignores everything he told her hours before?
Come on she is not that stupid because:

the third ridiculous scene
shows how she tells Alec how gay he is

...just because the warlock mentioned: "You have nice eyes"....yeah sure...

the forth thing and maybe also funny is

the fake kissing scene and the : OMG YOU SLEPT with this guy.

Hold a minute? Simon was in her room and Jace is suspicious , because Simon was in Clarys room...
Dude you've a lot of problems she was the whole time with ya.

Also did he mentioned a threesome ?
The movie gets so creepy truly.

Now  the fifth and last scene!

Simon is such a smart mechanic! He saw that a piece is missing on the hand gear! Clever dude.

No serious, the movie is so ridiculous sometimes even other people laughed with me in the cinema, because some scenes and dialogues were so worse.

What good stuff is to say?

I really love the German vampire!

Also that in the movies the actors are from the United Kingdom and  from America.

Such great actors and I love how the movie is done. Such a great animation technology!

The plot is logical!

But now to the actors :

Lily Collins

 is a quite good actress!
I really love her badass clothes even if some of that hasn't fit her in reality, because Isabelle is much taller than her...But put that away she did a good job.

--->

Jamie Campbell Bower as Jace

is  a really good choice I think he is the best one for that role!
Really love him even if I really dislike his hair!

Jemima West as Isabelle

is  also quite good but nothing much I can mention more about her!

Robert Sheehan as Simon.

A lot of people know Robert Sheehan well , because of  the series 'misfit' and I think he is one of the best

new actors ever.
I really love him in that role in this movie!

Jonathan Rhys Meyers as Valentine

disappoints me deeply in that movie...
He looks so fucking ugly with that hair! ( Yes even the handsomest guy can be done ugly)

Also I think the role doesn't fit him...Don't know why but he acts not really that good as I know him he can act.

So that's my review. The movie has a lot of action scenes and is really well done, its sometimes a bit creepy

but really exciting and with a lot of good actors.

I think a lot of dialogues and scenes are ridiculous but that's maybe the charm of the movie!
I really love the plot and the book is well presented ( the dialogues in the book are not that better).

So 3,5 stars of 5! The movie is a must for every fantasy fan and people who wants to see a fantasy film.
